Once all students have been issued a house, they will remain in that respective house until graduation.

The elected house representatives of the respective house shall meet for the purpose of achieving a common set of goals, namely, the enrichment of their lives through education in an organized high school community. This community is composed of various intellectual, cultural, social and sport bodies, which through mutual concern for the school and each other, attempt to develop the whole student.

There are two positions available for each house. A Junior Leadership Council Representative who will represent the junior vote for his/her respective house color and a Senior House Leadership Council Representative who will represent his/her respective house.

The House System is a revamped system from an old idea. The system presently exists in many private educational institutions and was used in some public institutions in the 1970's and 80's. This system will allow you "the student" a greater say in organizing "your" activities/events.

Here is how it will work. Each level in the school will be divided into 4 sections. A name will be assigned to each house to represent each section. Each level will have about 33 students in each house (depending on the population of the level).

The seniors of each house will elect one student (secondary IV or V) to officially represent the house in the Leadership Council (a place where all house representatives meet and discuss various duties and recommendations). There will also be a junior representative elected from secondary II or III. The junior representative will also attend the Leadership Council representing his/her house with his/her senior representative Each house will be asked to choose and organize various activities throughout the year (such as dances, activities, carnival, etc.). In the spirit of competition, each house must be successful in fulfilling its duties.

Since the vast majority of you participate in an activity, the House system will reward your house and allot points for your participation. The points will accumulate and the house with the most participation, leadership and successful events staged will be recognized at the end of the year with a trophy and prize.

But it doesn't end there. Since there are houses competing for points, new activities will be added just for house games. Activities like; Intramural Softball, Soccer, Flag Football, and even Cheer-offs. All this will add to school spirit.

Yes, you will still be able to team up with your friends in other houses for floor hockey, and other non-inter-house competitions. In these activities you will be rewarded points for participating in the event.
